Graveside services for Leroy Neff, 90, of Big Sandy, will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014, at 11 A.M. at Gladewater Memorial Park with Jim Franks officiating.
Born on November 20, 1923, in Medford, Oregon, he died on Tuesday, Janaury 28, 2014. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Linda Neff of Denver, Colorado, and Donald and Josie Neff of San Jose, California; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Gary Hegar of Big Sandy; seven grandchildren, Larry Neff, Debbie Neff Magruder, Melissa Neff Lovell, Michael Kusheba, Jeffrey Kusheba, Stephanie Hegar, Justin Neff; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Herbert W. Armstrong (July 31, 1892 – January 16, 1986) founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon. Mr. Armstrong preached an eclectic set of theological doctrines and teachings that came directly from the Bible. His teachings included the interpretation of biblical prophecy and taught observance of God’s Laws, Sabbath (Saturday), and the Biblical “Holy Days”.
