Why Does God Allow War?

There is no end in sight now to wars, the frightening, unthinkable nuclear World War looms closer and closer all the time. The only prospect now in sight is ever accelerating, escalation of wars, but why does God allow wars? if God is Love He certainly wouldn’t want people to die in the way they do in wars by the hundreds of thousands and even the millions, now would He? and if God is all powerful, He has the power to stop it, then why doesn’t He? It seems that almost nobody understands that there is a purpose being worked out here below, as Winston Churchill said to the United States Congress during World War II…

About Herbert W Armstrong

Herbert W. Armstrong (July 31, 1892 – January 16, 1986) founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon. Mr. Armstrong preached an eclectic set of theological doctrines and teachings that came directly from the Bible. His teachings included the interpretation of biblical prophecy and taught observance of God’s Laws, Sabbath (Saturday), and the Biblical “Holy Days”.
