Many Will Be Offended

Brethren, in Matthew chapter 24 there are warnings that Christ gives to His people, to His servants, in response to the Disciples question, “what shall be the sign of your coming of the end of the age?”, now we went through these warnings at an earlier time, I know I did in a sermon down here, but I want to call your attention to one specific one, three specific warnings that He gives in Matthew 24 beginning on down in verses 9 through 12 (Matthew 24:9-12). He talks about the fact that, many will be offended, many will be deceived by false prophets, and the love of many will grow cold, so many will become lukewarm, many will become deceived and many will become offended… …

Herbert W. Armstrong (July 31, 1892 – January 16, 1986) founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon. Mr. Armstrong preached an eclectic set of theological doctrines and teachings that came directly from the Bible. His teachings included the interpretation of biblical prophecy and taught observance of God’s Laws, Sabbath (Saturday), and the Biblical “Holy Days”.
