Brethren I think all of us recognize that we are living in very momentous times, as I was saying last night things do seem to be speeding up and I mean that very sincerely. We had a number of years where there was not too many things happening, but now we do have a number of rather significant things happening in the world seen. The Pope visit of course, the one million five hundred thousand people gathered yesterday at Grant Park to hear this man, and now another million five hundred thousand apparently going to be on the Mall at Washington D.C. to hear him. …

About Herbert W Armstrong

Herbert W. Armstrong (July 31, 1892 – January 16, 1986) founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon. Mr. Armstrong preached an eclectic set of theological doctrines and teachings that came directly from the Bible. His teachings included the interpretation of biblical prophecy and taught observance of God’s Laws, Sabbath (Saturday), and the Biblical “Holy Days”.
